Sales Account Executive

Corporate Services: Sales Account Executive: Portland, OR

Responsibilities:

  • Identify new sales opportunities and generate a continuous pipeline for conversion
  • Develop and harvest new leads through effective networking, cold calling, email campaigns and in-person meetings
  • Achieve assigned sales targets from a reasonable baseline
  • Evaluate client results and competitive developments and provide suggestions for new products and services

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of sales experience with a clear track record of uncovering new opportunities and directly negotiating contracts and commitments
  • Successful track record working with the video game and consumer retail industries
  • Documented success in a variable-compensation role (eg commissions, bonuses) with a top information services or market research provider
  • Experience with annual subscriptions for B2B information services; big tickets a plus
  • New business and account management wins in corporate accounts
  • Proficient in Challenger sales methodology and salesforce.com
  • Relevant corporate-level training (e.g. sales training, management training, personal development training, etc.)
  • Degree from a top university with a consistent record of academic excellence
