Job Description

M Science is strengthening its business development team through hiring an experienced Account Manager. As Account Manager you will be responsible for a book of clients, assuring retention of the current business, developing adoption and engagement of your clients to M Science products. You will work be the main point of contact for M Science clients to maximize their customer experience. You will also proactively address client needs and facilitate upselling by being engaged in the sales process from beginning to the end.

Skill and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Account Management experience preferably in the market research space
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Documented success in a variable-compensation role (e.g. commissions, bonuses) with a top information services or market research provider
  • Experience with annual subscriptions for B2B information services
  • Proficient in using CRM (such as salesforce.com)
  • Degree from a top university with a consistent record of academic excellence

Responsibilities

  • Know Your Clients: i.e. establish precise knowledge of how clients are using M Science by producing regular stats and detailed account mapping
  • Having strong product knowledge. Be able to pitch new products, demonstrate and train clients in using our visualization platform
  • Provide suggestions for new products and enhancements of the current ones
  • Exert professional follow up in anticipating renewals and assessing risk
  • Identify any upselling opportunities. Work with the sales team and management to close any new business within your current book
  • Develop personal network within your accounts through frequent touch points, calls and meetings
